Despite its relatively small size in Europe, Belgium plays an important role on the European stage of prevention, as pointed out Wednesday, November 18th, Philip Willekens, Director of the Security Local integral service of the Minestry of Interior. Thanks to the Belgian Security and Crime Prevention Award , field actions acquire a national and European recognition. For over 15 years, it distinguishes innovative, effective and promising actions, which then contribute to the European Award for Crime Prevention (this year in Stockholm). This year the jury selected the project 'bullying and violence' of the city of Leuven, and higlighted two projects "23-100 Our Space 'of Turnhout and' Police-Youth-TEC 'Liege. "
